Roots, Light & Cyanotype Magic

This week, our atelier took us outdoors for a poetic encounter with nature.

We began with an exploration in the park, where each child gathered leaves, petals, and twigs — small treasures that later became cyanotype prints, made with special sun paper. The children were amazed to see the silhouettes of their collections appear like magic, developed by sunlight.

In a quiet moment under the trees, each child chose a “special tree” and whispered a secret to it — a tender way to connect with the living world around us, and with themselves.

Back at the store, we read a gentle story about how plants grow and what it means to feel rooted, alive, and changing.
We wrapped up the afternoon with a joyful round of Spring Bingo to reinforce seasonal vocabulary — all in French, of course!

A day filled with light, stillness, and expression — where French meets wonder. 🌱
